Tell us the date, the time and your neighborhood. Sparkler shows you photographers, caterers and DJs who are genuinely available then — at a real price, not a "contact us for a quote".
And eleven of them end with "sorry, I'm booked that day."
No account needed until you actually book something.
Birthday on Thursday at 6 PM in Astoria, 25 guests, need a photographer, food and a DJ. That's the whole form.
We filter by real availability for that exact window, distance from you, and your budget. Travel and setup time included — so a "yes" is a real yes.
Pick one per category, see the total, send. Vendors confirm by text and you watch the answers land.
Every directory says a vendor is "available". Almost none of them actually know. We solve this by never asking a vendor to maintain a calendar.
A plain text message to the business number they already use. They reply in normal English — "booked from 6, free before" — and our assistant turns that into structured availability.
A DJ playing at 6 leaves home at 4:30. We block setup and teardown time too, so you never get handed a vendor who can't physically make it.
Availability confirmed two months ago is a guess, and we say so. Anything stale is flagged and re-checked before you're allowed to rely on it.
No app. No dashboard. No profile to keep updated. If you can answer a text message, you can be on Sparkler.
Brooklyn & Queens first. We text you only about real jobs — never marketing. Tell us your category after you sign up.
We're onboarding the first vendors in Brooklyn and Queens now. Early access goes out in order of signup.
