How it works

Three taps, not three minutes.

The reason people quit calorie apps is the typing. CaloriCam removes it.

1

Snap the plate

One photo from slightly above. The app identifies each food on it and estimates the portion.

2

Or just say it

Can't take a photo? Type it the way you'd say it — "schnitzel, 200g, potato salad" — and it works out the rest.

3

Adjust and save

Nudge a portion, correct a name, delete what isn't there. Then it's in your day.

What's in it

Everything you'd track, nothing you wouldn't.

🔥 Calories and macros

Protein, carbohydrate and fat per item and per day.

🎯 Daily targets

Worked out from your height, weight, age and activity level.

⚖️ Weight and water

Logged alongside meals so the trend is in one place.

📅 Day history

Move back through previous days and see the full picture.

🔄 Optional sync

Add an email only if you want the same history on a second device.

📶 Works one-handed

Built for the thirty seconds before you eat, not for a desk.

Accuracy

These are estimates, and the app says so.

We'd rather tell you than flatter you.

A photograph hides things — oil in the pan, sugar in the sauce, the depth of a bowl. CaloriCam gives you a good working number, not a laboratory measurement.

When you describe a meal in words instead of photographing it, the app shows you the margin of error on that specific estimate — and tells you when it had to guess a portion size, because naming a weight makes it markedly more accurate.

Most calorie apps present a confident number and hope you don't ask. We show the uncertainty because a number you can trust the shape of is worth more than one you can't.

Privacy

Your photos are never stored. Anywhere.

This isn't a policy we wrote to look good — it's how the app is actually built.

What that means concretely

  • Each photo is analysed and discarded. It is never written to disk on our servers and never enters a backup.
  • No account needed. The app works anonymously out of the box — no name, no phone number, no social login.
  • No ads, no advertising identifier, and no third-party analytics or tracking SDKs.
  • No location, contacts, calendar, microphone or health-app access.
  • We don't sell, rent or share your data with anyone.
  • You can delete your account and everything in it from inside the app.
